The banner exchange program is quite simple. It's just what the name implies, an exchange program. We post your clan banner here, and in exchange you post ours. In order to be fair, the banner must remain on your site for it to stay on our site, and so forth.
Text links do NOT count. It MUST be banner for banner. If we find that our banner is not posted on your site, your banner will be removed until this is corrected. This is also expected the other way around.
Programs like this are beneficial as they not only generate traffic and interest to your site, but also show the skill, quality, and dedication put into the banner to show off your clan.
To submit a banner, please email it to lint. Once the banner is received, it will be posted and our banner will be sent in return. We ask that you have our banner posted somewhere visible within 3 days. If it is not, your banner will be removed.
Normally, it works best when you place the banenr on the main page of your site, or link to a page off the front to the banner(s) as we have. This gives immediate access to the banners you display and works best to the visitor. If you place the banners where they are buried 20 links deep in the site, it highly defeats the purpose. As mentioned, if we post your banner, we expect a banner of ours posted and not a text link.
The link for the banner MUST point to our main page, which is http://www.pillclan.com. It can NOT point elsewhere on the site.
Also, if you are using frames on your site, make sure the link breaks our site out of yours. Do NOT have it run inside your frameset.
